In a tragic incident in Jharkhand's Hazaribag district, three devotees lost their lives, and fifteen others were injured when their van crashed near Karso village. The devotees were returning to Nawada in Bihar after visiting the Chinnamastika Temple at Rajrappa.
Barhi sub-divisional police officer Surjeet Kumar reported that the accident occurred when the van driver lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn after colliding with a stationary truck on the roadside. The collision resulted in the deaths of Devanand alias Deochand Chouhan (50) and Sourav Chouhan (30), both from the same family. The identity of the third deceased is still unknown.
Further the officials also informed that all injured passengers have been admitted to Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College and Hospital in Hazaribag, where three are in critical condition. They also informed that the investigation into the incident to determine the exact cause of the crash is presently underway.
