Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday (September 15) sounded the poll bugle for the BJP in Jharkhand with a massive rally in Jamshedpur and came down heavily on the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress over the issue of corruption. He said that Congress is the source of all corruption and its training has also been imparted to JMM in the “Congress school of corruption”.
The Prime Minister also raised the issue of former Jharkhand chief minister Champai Soren, who joined the BJP last month after quitting JMM alleging “insult”, and said that the JMM only cares about its vote bank and not for the people of the state, including the Aadivasis.
“There are three enemies of Jharkhand -- JMM, RJD and Congress. The RJD still takes revenge for the formation of Jharkhand even today. Congress hates Jharkhand. JMM standing with Bangladeshi infiltrators, Rohingyas. These infiltrators and extremists are taking JMM under their control and have entered the JMM. This happened because the ghost of Congress has entered JMM. These parties want to create their vote banks in the name of religion,” PM Modi said at a rally.
"Currently, infiltration is the biggest problem of Jharkhand. The parents of young daughters are worried. 2-3 days ago, Jharkhand High Court ordered an independent panel to investigate the infiltration... But the JMM government is not ready to admit that there is infiltration in Jharkhand... Bangladeshi and Rohingya infiltration is a huge problem in Santhal Pargana and Kolhan. The demography of the whole region is changing rapidly," he added.
“Was Champai Soren not an Aadivasi? Didn't he belong to a poor family? But he was insulted and removed from the chief minister's post to grab the CM chair. People of Jharkhand will answer this,” the Prime Minister said.
The Prime Minister also lashed out at the Congress and said that it runs a “school of corruption”.
“There is only one most corrupt party -- Congress. The most corrupt family is the Congress' family. All streams of corruption come from Congress. JMM is also taking training from the same school. The name of the school is 'Congress school of corruption'. JMM has only looted Jharkhand in the last five years,” he said.
