National Investigation Agency on Friday conducted raids at eight locations in Jammu and Kashmir pertaining to a case of criminal conspiracy to carry out terrorist and subversive activities, officials said.
The NIA registered the case on June 21 last year.
The NIA on Friday conducted raids in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bathindi and Shopian.
The raids were conducted in Shopian in a terror-related case, officials said.
The NIA conducted searches in the house of Mohammad Yousuf Wani, a resident of the Chotigam area of the Shopian district in south Kashmir, the officials said.
They said Wani is a farmer by occupation.
Earlier, in a massive success for the forces, the Sopore Police arrested two LeT (Lashkar-e-Toiba) OGWS (Over Ground Workers).
Eight rounds of pistols and grenades were seized from their possession An FIR was registered against them and an investigation is being done, the police said.
