Jammu and Kashmir: Encounter breaks out between terrorists, security forces in Kishtwar's Chatroo

An encounter has broken out between terrorists and security forces in Kishtwar's Chatroo area, Jammu and Kashmir. Two to three terrorists are reportedly trapped as security forces launch an intense operation to neutralize them.

An encounter between security forces and terrorists has been reported in the Chatroo area of Kishtwar. It is believed that two to three terrorists are hiding in the region, and a military operation is currently ongoing. Gunfire is being exchanged between both sides.

The area where the encounter is taking place is heavily forested. Security officials stated that the operation was launched after receiving information about the presence of terrorists in the Chatroo forest. 

Additional security forces have been deployed to the region, and further details are awaited. Meanwhile, a large-scale search operation continues in the Chasana area of Reasi district, where an exchange of fire occurred between terrorists and security personnel on Friday evening.
