Hybrid terrorist arrested
In another incident, a hybrid terrorist of the proscribed Al-Badr outfit was arrested on Saturday in the Batamaloo area of Srinagar, Kashmir. Incriminating materials along with arms and ammunition from his possession were recovered.
Notably, hybrid terrorists are those who carry out attacks and then slip back into their routine lives.
According to the Srinagar Police, the arrested terrorist has been identified as Arfat Yusuf, a resident of Rajpora Pulwama from the Batamaloo area of Srinagar. Acting on specific intelligence, the city police arrested him with incriminating material such as arms and ammunition including a pistol, 20 live rounds and two magazines.
