BJP's Darshan Kumar wins Jammu and Kashmir's Basohli constituency. He defeated Congress candidate Chaudhary Lal Singh with a margin of 16,034 votes.
Mehbooba Mufti's daughter Iltija lost by a margin of over 9,770 votes in the Srigufwara–Bijbehara constituency.
The assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir were held in three phases starting from September 18. These are the first assembly elections after the abrogation of Article 370.
