A major fire broke out in a warehouse in Ahmedabad's Danilimda area around 9 am on Friday. Several fire engines rushed to the spot to douse the blaze.
Speaking of the incident, Om Jadeja, Divisional Fire Officer, Ahmedabad Fire Service said, "At around 9 am, a fire erupted in an industrial shed that contains 10 godowns in the Danilimda area. We have deployed 18 fire engines and a robot van to facilitate entry and carry out firefighting operations."
Meanwhile, in response to the blaze, officials have evacuated nearby commercial and residential areas to ensure public safety. Significantly, the owner of the shed also confirmed that none of the laborers are missing.
