A massive fire broke out at Bombay Market in Surat, said an official on Tuesday. 10-12 fire tenders are present at the spot to douse the fire, he added.
Chief Fire Officer Surat Municipal Corporation Krishna Mod said the fire broke out in a showroom in Bombay Market.
"10-12 fire tenders are present at the spot. The situation is under control. The cause of the fire has not been known. No loss of life reported," he added.
The shops that caught the fire were located in the narrow lane of the market. However, no one got inured in the incident as people present in the market left the spot when the fire broke out.
