As the Israel-Hamas struggle proceeds, a great many upsetting pictures and recordings of obliterated houses, harmed kids, and more in Gaza have been shared on the web. Among them is a powerful photograph, purportedly of a Palestinian mother recovering her kid's toy vehicle from their obliterated house in Gaza. The photo shows a lady diving the flight of stairs of a weather-beaten structure, gripping a toy vehicle in one hand. One such post shared on X by American political pundit Jackson Hinkle peruses, "You Can't BREAK the Palestinian soul."

An opposite search of the viral picture drove us to a similar photo distributed on the site of the "Siena International Photo Awards," a yearly photography contest held by the non-benefit affiliation Craftsmanship Photograph Travel.
As per its site, the photo came out on top for the championship of "Remarkable Artwork" in 2020 under the classification "Documentary & Photojournalism". The portrayal of the photo named "Mother" expresses that it was taken in Homs, Syria.
"Homs, Syria's third-largest city, had been involved in war for four years. A mother, who returned home after the end of the conflict, found her child's toy car in their destroyed house," read the depiction of the photograph. According to the site, the photograph was caught by Hassan Ghaedi, a freelance photographer from Iran.
The photograph was likewise highlighted in various reports on the winners of the 2020 Siena International Photo Awards.
It is thus certain that the photo being referred to is old and from Syria. It has no association with the continuous Israel-Hamas war.
