India TV did a fact check

When India TV's fact-check team began investigating, it was found that the website was indeed fake. The first step was to check the Twitter handle of the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, as the MNREGA department falls under this ministry. On the Twitter handle, the official website of this ministry (https://rural.nic.in/) was provided. When we visited this website, the official website address for MNREGA was found to be https://mgnrega.nic.in/. Upon seeking information from the Central Government's official fact-checking organization, PIB, it was confirmed that the website was fraudulent. Even PIB tweeted about this information. In the latest X post, PIB Fact Check posted that the website is fake and the portal is not associated with the Government of India.

Therefore, readers are advised not to consider this Rojgar Sevak website as official. They should obtain information from the correct website and stay away from false news.
