On the work front, Arjun Rampal was last seen in Paltan, which failed to impress the audience and critics alike. Based on the 1967 Nathula Pass standoff, Paltan followed events that occurred after the 1962 Indo-China war. In 1967, Indian soldiers guarded Nathula in Sikkim from China and the trailer was a compilation of action scenes revealing incidents that happened during that year.
