Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Pankhuri Awasthy to make her comeback on TV opposite Kartik aka Mohsin Khan
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is all set to treat its audience with a major twist in the upcoming episodes. This is no news that the show will be taking a five-year leap after Naira, played by Shivangi Joshi, meets with an accident and dies. Now, the latest report around the longest running show suggests that after the leap, TV actress Pankhuri Awasthy is all set to enter the show and will be seen alongside Kartik aka Mohsin Khan. Pankhuri Awasthy recently got married to the love of her life and television actor Gautam Rode and took a two-year sabbatical from the world of the small screen. Now she is gearing up for her comeback and will be seen in the most popular show.
Going by the reports in Pinkvilla, a source informed the publication, “Pankhuri’s character will enter the show post leap. The show will be taking a leap starting 10th of June post which Naira will be shown a single mother. Before that, it will be shown that Naira’s car meets with an accident and while everyone assumes her to be dead post that, she survives the accident and reportedly loses her memory again.”
Speaking about her character and come back, she told Bombay Times, “It is good to be back on television, and that too, on a show that has been running for a decade now. I am playing a sweet, soft-spoken girl, who enters Kartik’s family. It will be followed by a lot of twists and turns.” When asked if she discusses work with Gautam, she said, “I discuss everything with Gautam. In fact, he has earlier worked with the same production house, and he felt that this show would work out for me. He is a very decisive person and I always depend on him for advice.”
Looks like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is all set for a roller coaster ride in the upcoming episodes.
