Star Plus’s popular TV show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is now 1500-episodes old. The show started in 2013, based on the topic of parental custody. With this show, Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel became the household names among every Indian family. People instantly loved the rapport shared by the leads including the child actor Ruhaanika Dhawan. Ever since then, the show took many turns and leaps. Ruhi is all grown up now while the Bhalla family still struggles with one problem or the other. On completion of 1500 episodes of YHM, Ekta Kapoor hosted a lavish party in Mumbai which had all the actors of the TV serial gathered under one roof. Except for Aly Goni. The actor is in Argentina to shoot for Khatron Ke Khiladi.
Divyanka Tripathi wore a shaded green silk gown and tied her hair into a neat ponytail. The gorgeous diva later shared a video of herself dancing crazily on the beats of ‘dhol’ at the event. She wrote, “The #DholWalas just wouldn't stop!!!”
She also shared a picture with the entire cast of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein on her Instagram. On the other hand, Ekta Kapoor shared the picture with Divyanka, Karan and Anita Hassanandani on her Instagram and called them the ‘pillars’ of the show.
Talking about the show’s success, Divyanka told TOI, “It is a beautiful feeling because it is a surprise for all of us. I mean, we knew the show is beautiful and we were enjoying ourselves working in the show for such a long time and when the journey is enjoyable you don’t realize about the time.”
“So we didn’t even realize that such a long time has gone by. It’s been four and a half years, and if you add shooting then it has been five years. It is a beautiful feeling,” she adds.
