All you need to know about Sonam Kapoor's boyfriend Anand Ahuja
Speculations were rife regarding Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's marriage for quite sometime now. After many rumours and reports, both the families have released an official statement, confirming the marriage.
Sonam will tie the knot with her long-term boyfriend Anand on May 8 in Mumbai. The official statement from the Kapoor and Ahuja familes read: ''The Kapoor & Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam & Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family’s need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives.”
Sonam's life is not a secret, thanks to her career choice. However, not much is known about Anand besides the fact that he is a Delhi-based businessman. Anand is the founder of a popular clothing brand, Bhane. He also owns country's first multi-brand sneaker company VegNonVeg. Ahuja has a business background. He is the grandson of Harish Ahuja, owner of Shahi Exports, claimed to be India's largest export house. Anand completed his post-graduation in America before joining the family business.
Anand came to the limelight after he was spotted a couple of time with the actress. The duo often goes on vacations together and keep on posting their lovey-dovey pictures on social media. The couple even rang in New Year 2018 together in Paris.
Recently at the trailer launch of Veere Di Wedding, when asked about her wedding, Sonam said: ''Everybody will know everything in good time.'' Earlier, Anil Kapoor said, ''Media has always been with me and my family when we began our careers. We will share everything at the right time. Very soon you all will know. We won’t hide these details. You will know why there is lighting outside the house.''
