TV actress Disha Vakani who shot to fame with her character Daya in popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah of SAB TV is currently enjoying time with her baby girl. Disha is on maternity leave after embracing motherhood last November 30. Disha is one of the popular characters of the show and her fans are missing her dearly. However, we have got to know about the latest development which is a bad news for her fans.
Disha, who was supposed to resume shooting in March, is still on leave. According to reports, Disha wants to focus more on her baby now than anything else. TMKOC team is trying to convince her but so far there has been no confirmation from her side.
When Spotboye.com contacted TMKOC team, a close source said: ''We are in touch with Disha to start the shoot. But she has yet not given a nod. Considering her baby is very small, production is willing to be understanding in terms of timing and schedule, like we were in the final months of her pregnancy. But she wants to focus more on her personal commitments at the moment. But we are trying very hard to bring her back on the sets asap.''
When the portal tried to confirm the news from Disha by dropping her a message, there was no response from her side. Meanwhile, many thought that TRP of the show will plummet after Disha's absence, however the show took everyone by surprise by maintaining its position.
