Twitter is in no mood to hear anything about peace between two countries post the deadly Pulwama terror attack. Hell broke loose when The Kapil Sharma Show’s judge Navjot Singh Sidhu talked about peace offering his statement on the terror attacks. Post this, he was incessantly trolled on the social media, as a result of which he was allegedly sacked from the comedy show. Now when Kapil Sharma spoke in favour of the fellow comedian and asked people not to judge him, #BoycottKapilSharmaShow started trending on the social media.

Rumours are doing rounds that Sony TV has decided to call the show off air following the agitation. However, pulling the plug is not permanent. They might hold the show for few months till the matter is cooled down. However, these were just rumours as Sony TV officially confirmed that Navjot Singh Sidhu has been replaced by Archana Puran Singh.

Amid these controversies, TV actor Kavita Kaushik wrote in support of the comedian. She wrote, “Jiss Kapil Sharma ne apni personal life mein rotey hue bhi TV pe apne fans jo hasaaya...aaj aap uski baat ka, lehze ka galat matlab nikaal rahe hain? He was already a billionaire before this controversy he could have married a hot blonde n settled abroad but he chose his childhood loyalty to marry and came back to please his Indian fans with his Indian colloquial rural humour with his new show!"

She added, “At least try and understand what he is saying! Pakistan will be laughing at us right now for boycotting our nation humour jewel because he won't throw out an important member of the team because of his political views, it's the government and our brilliant army's decision of what call to take in such serious matters and we are nobody to make judgments sitting on our couches with our diseased gadgets in our hands! Aapas mein mat jagdo please #DontBoycottLoyalty."

Mahhi Vij also stood out in support of Kapil Sharma. She wrote, “"#KapilSharma said nothing wrong I stand by him because he is right.stop this people just bcz u hv hashtag with stupidity."

Kapil Sharma recently took part in an Anti-Drug campaign in Chandigarh organised by Art of Living.
