Amidst growing tensions between India and Pakistan after Pulwama terror attack, there are many who are asking the government to wage a war against the neighbouring country. However, there is another section of netizens, who want to government to solve the issue through dialogue. This has triggered chaos and hatred on social media. Addressing the ongoing situation, TV actors Karan Patel and Nakuul Mehta have put up Instagram posts for warmongers.

Karan took to social media to share a picture and wrote, ''Its very easy to be a bloody #KeyboardWarrior sitting in the comfort of your home. For #Us we only #LooseSoldiers BUT We can’t even begin to imagine the #Loss of the #Parents who loose their #Son, #Sisters who loose their #Brother, #Wives who loose their #Husband and #Children who loose their #Father .... SAY NO TO A WAR Or GO FIGHT IT YOURSELF ..!''. Nakuul Mehta also called for peace in his post. His caption reads, ''War is NOT, will not and cannot be the answer. Amidst the mindless din, war mongering & jingoist posturing on the social media and news media, so heartening to see some sane voices of reason, humanity & compassion across both our countries. #SayNoToWar''.

The tension between India and Pakistan escalated after India lost 40 CRPF personnel in a suicide attack in Kashmir's Pulwama. Pakistan-based Jaish-e- Mohammad claimed that it carried out the attack. To avenge the loss, India said that it launched an air strike in Pakistan's Balakot killing approx 300 militants. However, Pakistan has another version of the air strike conducted by India. A day later, Pakistan Air Force targeted military installations in India in response to India's counter-terrorism operations but their attempts were foiled successfully, External Affairs Ministry said. Reacting to it, Pak claimed that it shot down Indian military aircraft flying over its air space and arrested a pilot. It also released a video of blindfolded Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman.
