Kiku Sharda takes a jibe at Kapil Sharma
The Kapil Sharma Show is one of the most loved shows of television and undoubtedly, it is because of the characters played by our favourite comedians. The show is often graced by Bollywood celebrities majorly for promotional purposes. In the upcoming episode, yesteryear actresses such as Helen, Asha Parekh, Waheeda Rehman will visit the sets of the show. These special ladies will get the dose of laughter along with the audience of The Kapil Sharma Show.
In the promo of the episode, we can see Kiku Sharda in his Bachcha Yadav avatar, taking a dig at Kapil Sharma. Donning the avatar of his popular character, Kiku gives a kite aka 'Kati Patang' to Asha Parekh, paper flowers or say Kaagaz Ke Phool to Waheeda Rehman and a blank page to Helen. Wondering why a blank paper? Well, so that her husband Salim Khan can write a script.
When the host Kapil Sharma asked why would the noted scriptwriter write a script for him, to this Kiku had a sassy reply. He said, "Salman (Khan) ji aapke liye show produce kar sakte hain, Salim ji hamare liye script nahi likh sakte?". WOAH! Isn't that savage?
Needless to say, this remark not only left the spectators but also the veteran actresses ROFL-ing.
Meanwhile, Archana Puran Singh, who has replaced Navjot Singh Siddhu as the permanent guest on the show went down the memory lane. Reportedly, she got emotional on seeing Waheeda Rehman and recalled her meeting with the veteran actress. "It was Medha Jalota’s birthday which both of us attended and I went to greet Waheeda ji. She replied, 'hello' and my jaw dropped interacting with her. After a while when I was having food, Waheeda ji came and greeted me. She also apologised for not recognising me earlier. That was one of the best moments of my life because a person like Waheeda ji recognised me,'' Archana was quoted as saying by the tribuneindia.com.
