Ace comedian Kapil Sharma who had maintained a low profile for around a year has made his comeback with The Kapil Sharma Show season 2. To our surprise, the fans not only accepted his comeback but made the show number 1 in just a matter of one week. In the first week itself, Kapil Sharma had Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Rohit Shetty as their guest and the episode shot up on the TRP charts. It was well received by fans and in fact, became the centre of media attention for the following few days. According to the BARC report, The Kapil Sharma Show 2 in its first week itself ranked number on across all channels.
On Thursday evening, The Kapil Sharma Show team celebrated the massive success of the show with Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga cast including Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Anil Kapoor. Sonam Kapoor shared a couple of videos from the celebrations and Kapil’s fans were rejoiced to learn about the news.

Previously, The Kapil Sharma Show had Salim Khan along with his sons Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan. The episode was a laugh riot with the ace screenwriter narrating some hilarious incidents from the actors’ childhood.
Kapil Sharma remained in headlines last year and the year before that for his tussle with co-actor Sunil Grover on a flight. Following this, the comedian was slammed for his drinking habits, for which he enrolled himself at a rehabilitation centre last year. He also came in limelight for his fight with a renowned journalist over a phone call.
