Comedian Siddharth Sagar’s mother and her boyfriend used to harass him, says close friend
The fans of The Kapil Sharma Show were shaken by the news of comedian Siddharth Sagar going missing. The news broke out when his friend and former celebrity manager Somi Saxena posted on Facebook asking about Siddharth’s whereabouts. The post went viral and soon fans started raising questions about Sagar’s sudden disappearance. According to the post, the comedian was missing for the past 4 months and was last seen in November 2017. The post was however deleted after it went viral.
After getting to know about the viral post, Siddharth Sagar himself came to the front to clear the air about his missing report. He posted a video on his Instagram handle and revealed that he was going through a tough face in his life. He also accused his family of mentally harassing him. Siddharth didn’t disclose his current location but assured his fans that we will reveal further details in 2-3 days.
Somi Saxena told a leading daily when asked about the Facebook post about Siddharth Sagar, “His (Siddharth) mother was pressurizing me. They asked me to delete the post as it got a lot of hype. I just wanted to know if he was fine and was concerned about his well-being. She said she will file a complaint against me and book me for extortion as she works in an NGO and has strong contacts. So I got scared and didn't want all this."

Somi also got a call from a lady sub-inspector named Apte from Navi Mumbai’s NRI police station. The officer also asked her to put the Facebook post down. She also threatened her by saying that she will book Somi for harassing Siddharth’s mother.
Siddharth’s mother called Somi from another phone number and a male friend of her was talking to Somi impersonating Siddharth.
"I could clearly make out it's not him (Siddharth)," Somi said and added, "After a few hours, Siddharth called me and said he was fine and thankful about the post and I can take it off. He said he will call me in 2-3 days. I am happy about the video he posted. Everybody was against me. They didn't believe me,” she told IBtimes.
Somi also complained about Police’s harsh treatment when they went to the police station to challenge the allegations made by Sagar’s mother.
Why did Somi uploaded the post about Siddharth Sagar?
Explaining her motive, she said, “We (Somi, Tanu, and Siddharth) used to hangout a lot and suddenly he was unavailable. We had to take some action. Nobody cared enough to even ask. We thought no matter what happens we will find him. That's when I decided to post and now everyone is concerned. We didn't want to disclose his personal life but we had no option left. Tanu tried to contact him and also tried to convince his mother to make us meet him but she denied. She said who are we to ask about him and warned us to stay out of the matter.'"
Somi Saxena also revealed a shocking detail that Siddharth Sagar was once kidnapped by his own mother earlier as well.
"He shared that his mother and her boyfriend used to beat him. They used to tie him to tyre and hit him. Torture him. He was under depression and used to take pills. He somehow escaped from there and shifted to a hotel apartment. He couldn't focus on work," Somi told the leading daily.
