Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki actress Rubina Dilaik gets engaged to boyfriend Abhinav Shukla!
TV actress Rubina Dilaik, who is currently seen in daily soap Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, is engaged to her long-time boyfriend Abhinav Shukla. She took to her Instagram to share the news with a gorgeous picture of herself. In the picture, she’s flaunting the ring with which her actor-photographer boyfriend has proposed her.
Sharing the picture, she wrote, “And I said yes". Abhinav also shared the same picture and wrote, “Thankyou”.
The telly couple is all set to tie the knot in June this year. They will be getting hitched on June 21, in Shimla and then head to Ludhiana, which is Abhinav’s hometown, to perform the post-wedding rituals.
Rubina Dilaik spoke about her marriage plans to a leading daily. She said, “We have chosen Shimla for various reasons. To begin with, most of our relatives are settled there. However, the prewedding functions will take place in Mumbai and Ludhiana, which Abhinav’s hometown. We are not going in for an elaborate ritual, as for us, what matters most is the saat phere. We both wanted it to be an outdoor affair. Abhinav, being an adventure junkie, wished to exchange vows amidst the mountains, in the lap of nature. I, too, wanted a day wedding with lots of natural light and greenery around.”
When she was asked if she was getting jittery before the big day of her life, she responded, “I am not someone who will have jitters. The idea is to grow old together and know each other better, gradually. I am looking forward to exploring new things with him by my side. I believe that one shouldn’t know everything about his/her partner at one go. Slow discovery of each other lends newness to the relationship and keeps the spark alive.”
