Sasural Simar Ka actress Dipika Kakar celebrates first Ramadan with husband Shoaib Ibrahim
Sasural Simar Ka fame TV actress tied the knot with her long-time beau and actor Shoaib Ibrahim on February 2. And now, it now seems like the actress has totally blended in her new family. After converting to Islam and changing her name to Faiza , the popular actress celebrated her first Ramzan with husband Shoaib Ibrahim and his family.
Taking to his Instagram account, Shoaib Ibrahim shared a picture of himself with wife Dipika. Take a look
In another pic posted by Shoaib, the couple and their extended family are seen breaking their fast together with broad smiles on their faces.
In a video, shared by one of Dipika’s fan clubs, the actress can be seen celebrating her first Roza with Shoaib and his parents. She looks extremely happy and into the rituals as the entire family sits down during Iftari to relish a meal.
Dipika has been well received by Shoaib’s family. She has particularly bonded well with her mother-in-law. In fact, she posted quite an emotional message for her mother-in-law, who she addresses as ‘ammi (Mom).’ She wrote, “Thank you Ammi for giving me all the love… for making me believe that I am your 3rd child…that I’m not your daughter-in-law…infact your daughter….I love you and I always will… Happy Mothers Day Ammi!!! PS sorry.”
In March 2018, Dipika admitted that she had converted to Islam. Shoaib and Dipika had also participated in celebrity couple dance show Nach Baliye last year and it was on the show that Shoaib had proposed to Dipika for marriage.
After dating for few years, Shoaib finally proposed to Dipika on the sets of Nach Baliye. The actor currently features in a show, Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morre.
