Here's what Sarvaguna Samapann actress Shrenu Parekh has to say about comparison with Jennifer Winget's Beyhadh
Ishqbaaz actress Shrenu Parekh is being seen in a totally different avatar in the latest TV show Ek Bhram.. Sarvagunn Sampann. She's playing the role of Janhvi who wants to destroy her own in-laws. Her negative character in the show is being liked by the audience. However, amid the popularity of the show, fans are also comparing Janhvi to Jennifer Winget's character Zoya in Sony TV's show Beyhadh. In Beyhadh, Jennifer played the role of a lunatic woman who was extremely possesive about her husband Arjun (played by Kushal Tandon).
When Shrenu Parekh came to know about this comparison, she said, "I believe it is a compliment to be compared with Jennifer. The best part about both the characters is that they have a back story and a justification for their actions. So in a way, neither Jahnvi nor Maya is a vamp."
Talking about Jennifer Winget's Beyhadh, the show was a massive hit among the audience. She later returned to small screen with another TV show Bepannaah which was also called off air after limited number of episodes. There are reports that Beyhadh is returning with a sequel and Jennifer Winget will reprise her role as Zoya. Producer Prateek Sharma confirmed the same and said, "Who else can play Maya better than Jennifer Winget? I am ecstatic and totally looking forward to Beyhadh 2 as Beyhadh is my flagship show. Things are now at very initial stages. We are in discussion with Jennifer for her dates, as we all know she is a star and is busy with certain things."
Beyhadh 2 is expected to hit the screens in October or November this year.
