Saif Ali Khan to make his TV debut with Dipika Kakar

Kareena Kapoor Khan has already stepped into the world of the small screen and looks like husband Saif Ali Khan has followed suit. The latest buzz around the actor reveals that Saif has said yes to switch to TV and has already begun shooting for his first show. It is said that he will be seen in the upcoming show featuring Bigg Boss 12 winner Dipika Kakar and Karan V Grover. He is said to play the cupid in the love story. Going by a report in Mumbai Mirror, Saif Ali Khan has started shooting for his TV debut at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai.

According to the reports, Saif Ali Khan’s TV show will be produced by Sandeep Sickand. It is a love story and Saif will be a part of it. As per the report, Saif shot for a scene recently at a studio in Mumbai where he plays Cupid between the leads. As a source told the daily, “Saif shot a sequence where the leads are deciding where to go on a date. He shot alone for the part which featured a monologue and involved voice modulation as he is also shown giving voiceover for the female protagonist. The shoot went on for four-five hours.”

While Saif Ali Khan has already begun, a while back reports in Pinkvilla stated that Kareena Kapoor Khan has also said yes to the show, but it is a dance-based reality show. Infact, Dheeraj Dhoopar, who is set to host Dance India Dance, himself revealed in an interview that he is very excited to work with Kareena Kapoor Khan on the show.

Kareena Kapoor Khan has always been very supportive of her husband Saif’s choices. She has also lauded him in many interviews for opting for the digital space fearlessly and them emerging as a winner with Sacred games. Talking about her relationship with Saif, Kareena told Humans Of Bombay, "So just when I thought I was falling, Saif caught me. I’d met him numerous times before, but when we were filming Tashan, something changed. I wore my heart on my sleeve around him. He was so utterly charming; I fell for him hook, line, and sinker."
