Throwback Video: When Krystle D’Souza made Rita Bhaduri dance on ‘Desi Girl’
The world woke up to tragic news on Tuesday about the veteran actress Rita Bhaduri’s death. The popular Indian actress breathed her last on Tuesday. She was admitted to a hospital for the last 10 days before her death. According to her family, she was suffering from kidney ailment for a long time. As soon as the news of Rita Bhaduri’s demise broke out, the entire television fraternity was struck by shock wave. They started posting condolences for the late actress on their social media. Popular TV actress Krystle D’Souza also wrote an emotional post for her former co-star on her Instagram.
She shared a picture with Rita Bhaduri and wrote, “Heaven gained an Angel and a little piece of my heart !
Ritaji was my strict onscreen dadi ; who on the contrary in real was literally full of life , laughter and so much love to give!
May her soul rest in peace”
She also shared a throwback video with Rita Bhaduri in which she can be seen dancing on the song Desi Girl from Priyanka Chopra’s movie Dostana. Though, looking very weak due to her bodily ailments, Rita Bhaduri took keen interest in mimicking the trainer dancing in front of her.
Rita Bhaduri had acted in many Hindi and Gujarati movies. She also worked for a long time in TV serials, including, Amanat, Hasratein, Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka, etc. Before her death, she was working in Star Bharat’s Nimki Mukhiya as Imarti Devi.
Her niece told a leading daily, “Well, Ritaji had developed several complications. Her kidneys had failed since some time and more recently, she had a spine surgery done. After that, she developed many complications and her other internal organs started deteriorating. The last one month was tough."
