The Kapil Sharma Show is riding high on success right from its start. The second season of the show began on December 28 and within seven days of its run, the show has secured the numero uno spot on the TRP charts. As per the BARC reports, The Kapil Sharma Show has topped the TRP charts across all the channels. The team celebrated the feat with Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga team including Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. The fans have evidently loved Kapil Sharma’s return to the small screen. However, it’s not Kapil Sharma who is responsible for this massive success of the second season. Bharti Singh thinks it’s Kapil’s wife Ginni Chatrath who served as a lucky charm for the show.
Talking to TellyChakkar, she said, “I am elated with the show’s opening ratings. Krushna and I both are happy to join the show. Kapil has given us a very warm welcome and told us whatever we are comfortable doing, we can continue doing it. The amount of talent that Kapil has, I am sure he is going to take the show to another level and break all the records. For viewers, we three coming under one roof is like watching Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan together. The credit behind the show’s success goes to Kapil’s wife, who has proved to be a lucky charm for him. I am happy naye saal ki shuruwat aisi hui."

Kapil Sharma got hitched to Ginni Chatrath on December 12. The couple hosted a wedding reception in Mumbai, which was graced by Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Many other Bollywood celebrities also attended their wedding reception.
