Nia Sharma starrer Ishq Mein Marjawan going off air soon, Arjun Bijlani confirms. Deets inside
TV show Ishq Mein Marjawan which has Arjun Bijlani and Nia Sharma in the lead roles is all set to go off air soon. According to the actor himself, the show will go off air on June 28 this year. Fans are definitely not ready to gulp down this piece of news. Produced by Beyond Dreams, Ishq Mein Marjawan was first launched with a twin-sister twist having Alisha Panwar in the lead role. The show has been on air for the past two years and had quite a journey. Alisha quit the show since she didn't see any future of her character Aarohi in the show. Nia Sharma joined the cast and took over as the female lead.
According to a Pinkvilla report, Ishq Mein Marjawan will be replaced by Choti Sarrdaarni. Talking about the show going off air, Arjun Bijlani told Pinkvilla, "Yes, I think it was supposed to end in July, but they're doing it a little earlier, a lot of shows have been coming in and hence the decision. The show has come a long way and it is a huge deal for a revenge drama to go on for 2 years. I always wanted to play a grey shaded character and I think Deep's character would be talked about even after q few years as it was very different. Of course, I have done some crazy crazy things on this show and I am really going to miss it once it goes off-air."
The TRP ratings for Ishq Mein Marjawan hasn't been impressive for a long time. For the past few months, things have gone really downhill for Ishq Mein Marjawan. Talking about the low numbers, he said, "You know Aalisha quit because she thought there was nothing on the show, so be it, eventually the track was going and the show started with a few people, now, I am the only one left of the lot. But I have had a great time on the show, I can't talk on anyone's behalf, but as far as I am concerned, Deep is always going to be very close to me. I think Yash and Mamta did a great job for two years by pulling the show for so long so I think fans should really blame them or anything given such a show ran on television for two years, obviously the story keeps going up and down, as it is for any other show and finally the show is going off air, I obviously want to aim at doing even better things now, I am already doing Dance Deewane now."
