Mouni made her TV debut with Ekta Kapoor’s TV series Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, and is all set to team up with her once again. A report of Mouni and Ekta’s collaboration for a web series recently surfaced and it also turned as an exciting news for her fans.
She is currently busy in the shooting of two of the Bollywood projects including Akshay Kumar’s Gold and Brahmastra, is also said to be making a special appearance in Naagin 3.
The makers of the show revealed that Naagin 3 will not have Mouni in the lead role, but will feature in few of the scenes. A report of DNA stated, ‘’Naagin 3 will have a different lead heroine this time. Mouni is busy with her two Bollywood projects — Gold and Brahmastra — and won’t be able to give dates for another season of the show.”
The source was further quoted saying, ‘’There will possibly be some scenes which will have Mouni in flashbacks in the show this season, but Ekta has offered Mouni a web series, for her digital video platform, Alt Balaji, and Mouni is definitely doing it.”
Mouni is excited for the web series idea, said a source. The sources further added, “Mouni has loved the idea and the series is being developed. Since it will have a limited number of episodes, it will be easy for Mouni to schedule the shoot in between her two Bollywood projects.”
