The TV show lovers must be knowing that their beloved actress Mouni Roy is taking a sabbatical from small screen to make an entry in Bollywood. The gorgeous TV actress has roped in a role opposite superstar Akshay Kumar in his upcoming biopic Gold. After playing iconic innings in Naagin 1 and Naagin 2, Mouni Roy has finally bade farewell to Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin franchise. Her co-star Adaa Khan also left the show. Recently in an interview, when her rumoured beau Mohit Raina was asked about Mouni’s Bollywood debut, he told India Forums:
“2018 will be very good for her. I wish her all the luck and success. It was about time that this had to happen. Her hard work and dedication has paid off and she is going to rule the industry for sure."
In an interview with Indian Express, when Mohit Raina was asked about his alleged relationship with former co-star Mouni Roy, he said, “I have always maintained that my personal and professional life is completely apart. As for Mouni, it is only the assumptions of people that we are dating. I have a lot of friends but not all are from the industry and you can say that the only close celeb friend I have is her. So whenever we are spotted together or we post pictures of each other, everyone assumes that there’s something more but aisa kuch bhi nahi hai (there’s nothing between us). Mouni was a co-star who became a very close friend and continues to be so.”
Mohit Raina is all set to make a comeback on small screen after a short break. He is going to essay the role of Havildar Ishar Singh in Discovery Jeet’s 21 Sarfarosh: Saragarhi 1987.
Mohit Raina met Mouni Roy on the sets of mythological TV series Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev. Ever since then, the rumours of them dating are doing rounds on social media. However, the duo has maintained that they are nothing but close friends.
