TV actress Mouni Roy is certainly the most popular actress of television industry. Fans want to know each and every details of her personal as well as professional life. The actress is on cloud nine for obvious reasons. She has bagged two big Bollywood projects; Gold and Brahmastra opposite Akshay Kumar and Ranbir Kapoor respectively. Her Akshay Kumar-starrer Gold is slated to release this August itself. Apart from the Bollywood project, we told you that Mouni has been roped in for Ekta Kapoor’s web series Mehrunissa. In the project, she will be essaying the role of Mughal Empress Nur Jahan.
Mouni Roy has begun working on the web series and these latest pictures on the social media are a proof. In the picture, the gorgeous former Naagin is busy reading the script while she is captured on camera off-guard. She looks like an attentive student who goes through their books right before their exams.
Mehrunissa is helmed by Ken Ghosh, who is garnering praise for his Surveen Chawla-starrer web series Haq Se. Earlier there were reports of Mouni Roy working on the web series but these latest pictures have confirmed the report. The Naagin actress opted out from third instalment of popular fictional TV series. She has been replaced by Anita Hassanandani, Karishma Tanna and Surbhi Jyoti.
Rumours have it that either Arjun Bijlani or Mohit Raina will be casted opposite her. Shedding light on the title Mehrunissa, it was the name of Mughal Queen who was prominent for her jaw-dropping beauty, grace and administration.
