Mere Angne Mein’s Riya aka Ekta Kaul to tie the knot with Sumeet Vyas?
Wedding news and rumours have been dominating the news feed for quite some time now. After Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding, recent buzz is saying that Veere Di Wedding actor Sumeet Vyas is soon getting hitched to TV actress Ekta Kaul this September. Sumeet Vyas is playing Kareena Kapoor Khan’s love interest in the upcoming film Veere Di Wedding.
Ekta Kaul is known for her stint in the popular show Mere Angne Mein, which has now gone off air. She played the role of protagonist Riya opposite actor Karam Rajpal, who is also getting hitched soon. Back in February, Ekta Kaul shared a cryptic post on her Instagram in which she can be seen holding hands with someone. The identity of the guy wasn’t revealed. However, rumours mills are churning that the man is none other than Sumeet Vyas himself.
A report on Tellychakkar quoted a source saying, “The duo is dating since some time now. It is still unknown about how they met but they are going strong.” Apparently, the duo has already got engaged in February this year. "The couple is all set to tie the knot. Ostensibly, Ekta and Sumeet might exchange the vows this September. Their respective families have already accepted the couple.”
However, Ekta Kaul rubbished the wedding rumours with Sumeet Vyas when contacted by a leading daily. She confirmed that she’s getting hitched in September this year, but it’s not Sumeety Vyas. The actor, on the other hand, maintained silence on the matter.
Sumeet Vyas parted ways with wife Shivani Tanksale. They got hitched a few years ago but due to differences, they filed for divorce. On the other hand, Ekta Kaul was dating Kanan Malhotra from Rab Se Sohna Isshq, however later, they went separate ways.
