Me Too: Pratyusha Banerjee’s boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh accuses Mushtaq Sheikh of sexual harassment
With #MeToo movement on the go, countless sexual harassment stories were shared by many women. Hundreds of women came out with their bitter experiences in the entertainment industry as well as other domains of society. However, there have been little or no male survivor stories. Giving a turn to the ongoing Me Too campaign, TV actor Rahul Raj Singh accused screenwriter Mushtaq Sheikh of molestation and sexual harassment while talking to a leading entertainment daily. The actor has also filed a complaint against the writer and alleged that he molested him multiple times and promised him roles in return.
Rahul Raj Singh was in the news a couple of years ago when he was charged with abetment to suicide of his late girlfriend and actress Pratyusha Banerjee. The actress took her life by hanging herself through a ceiling fan.

Rahul says that the way women have bravely come out with their #MeToo story, it has inspired him to do the same. Narrating his alleged sexual harassment, he told how he met Mushtaq Sheikh after he was awarded Grasim Mr India model in 2014. Sheikh asked him to meet after work hours to discuss a prospective project. He also started calling him during odd hours at night.
According to Rahul Raj Singh, Mushtaq Sheikh once took him to his 1 bhk house and told him that he’s going to do something to him (Rahul) that he’ll enjoy. He said that after this statement, he was scared of him. Rahul allegedly lost projects because he refused to sleep with him.
When Rahul landed with roles in Amber Dhara and Mata Ki Chowki, Mushtaq Sheikh again asked him to sleep with him, however he refused and soon his character was dropped from the show.

Rahul narrated an incident that took place in Aarey Milk Colony. Mushtaq Sheikh allegedly grabbed his head and began unbuttoning him.
Rahul Raj Singh’s then-roommate and now producer Asif Ali said that he remembers the sexual harassment episode however he doesn’t remember the name now.
