King of Romance Shah Rukh Khan introduces Prerna Anurag Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2
As promised, the characters of Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming love sage Kasautii Zindagii Kay reboot saw the light of the day as King Of Romance Shah Rukh Khan introduced them in the latest video. Ekta Kapoor and Erica Fernandez have been teasing the fans by giving a sneak peeks about the show and its characters for a few days and now that the video is out, fans are filled with excitement.
Ekta Kapoor shared the video on her social media and captioned it as, “ANURAG N PRERNA ..!they were so different no one cud imagine them with each other not even them themselves... destiny laughed fate smiled and said ‘ u both will always b with each other ....no not LIVE with each other but LIVE FOR each other! In the video, SRK is seen giving a glimpse of the epic love tale of Prerna and Anurag. He compares Prerna and Anurag’s love story to railways tracks that travel together long distances but never become one. On SRK’s voiceover, Prerna aka Erica Fernandez and Anurag aka Parth Samthan stand on opposite stations and look at each other.

"Kasautii Zindagii Kay" ran for seven long years and starred Shweta Tiwari and Cezzane Khan, who was later replaced by Hiten Tejwani and Ronit Roy in the lead roles. Urvashi Dholakia and Geetanjali Tikekar played the main antagonists. Urvashi’s character of Komolika became a household name in no time.
The show became the third longest-running entertainer on the Indian small screen after "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi" and "Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii" Now a reboot is coming on Star Plus and has Erica Fernandez and Parth Samthaan in lead roles. Rumours have it that Komolika’s role will be revived by Bigg Boss fame Hina Khan, however, nothing is confirmed yet. Krystal D’souza’s name is also surfacing for the antagonist’s role.
