Khatron Ke Khiladi: Vikas Gupta gets disqualified for taking pain killers, Rohit Shetty lambasts him
Vikas Gupta landed into soup during his stay in stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 9. The TV producer was lambasted by host and filmmaker Rohit Shetty after he came to know about his (Vikas’s) pain killer injections. Actually, the makers of the show refrain the contestants from taking any pain killer medications or injection as it might prove fatal for them while performing the stunts. Also, it can alter their performance, which is unfair to other contestants. In the latest promo, it was revealed that host Rohit Shetty came to know about Vikas Gupta’s pain medications. The TV producer didn’t inform the makers about his ongoing medications which proved fatal for him.
As a consequence, Rohit Shetty not only lambasted the former Bigg Boss 11 contestant but also disqualified him for his irresponsible act. In the video, we can see the filmmaker getting extremely furious at Vikas as the medications could have landed him an emergency room. Post this, the producer was eliminated from the show, which shocked his fans.
While talking to TOI, Vikas Gupta revealed that he was guilty of taking pain medication on Khatron Ke Khiladi without informing the makers. He said that the pain in his neck aggravated following the helicopter stunt. He said, “The pain killers also increase your heart rate, which while doing stunts can even go higher resulting in major health risks, which even I wasn’t aware of. Yes, I was disqualified from the show and rightfully so. It was a stupid thing to hide the injury. With the telecast I am hearing another round of reprimanding from my mom all over again.”
