Khatron Ke Khiladi 9: Vikas Gupta gets snakebite while trying to save friend Bharti Singh!
The shooting of Khatron Ke Khiladi 9, which already begun last month is going on in full swing. All the contestants of the reality including Bharti Singh, Vikas Gupta, Zain Imam, Shamita Shetty and others frequently share videos and pictures from Argentina, where they are stationed to shoot for the show. This year as well, Khatron Ke Khiladi is being hosted by film producer Rohit Shetty. Being a stunt show, contestants often get hurt and land up in the hospital. According to the latest reports, Vikas Gupta and Aditya Naryana have been injured.
The source told DNA, “The team is currently shooting in Argentina. And unlike other seasons, it seems this time the crew is finding it difficult to ensure proper safety measures for all the contestants. While performing the stunts, some participants like actor-singer Aditya Narayan and producer, as well as Bigg Boss 11 finalist Vikas Gupta have been injured.”
“During one of the stunts, Aditya fell and injured his eye. He was rushed to the hospital and has been advised a week’s rest. On another instance, a python was going to attack contestant Bharti Singh. Vikas tried to save her and was bitten by the snake. He was given a few injections and has been asked to take some time out to recover,” the source adds.
Contestants getting injured on the sets is not a new thing for Khatron Ke Khiladi. In previous seasons as well, many contestants got injured. However, mishaps like these have never happened on the sets.
“Rohit is not at all happy with whatever has happened. He was fuming when these accidents took place, but the situation is currently under control. The team has ensured extra safety for all the contestants,” said the source.
Earlier, it was reported that Shamita Shetty has fallen sick on the sets and has refused shooting for the stunts. However, going by recent pictures by the contestants, it seems like Shamita have joined the show, hale and hearty.
