Khatron Ke Khiladi 9: Shamita Shetty unable to perform stunts due to poor health, may soon quit the show
The shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi season 9 has started in Argentina with all the 12 contestants flowing to Argentina. After wrapping up the shoot of Simmba, filmmaker and host Rohit Shetty also made it to the country to shoot for the reality show. The contestants including Bharti Singh and husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa, Vikas Gupta, Zain Imam, Aly Goni and others have been sharing pictures from their hangouts together. However, Shamita Shetty was missing from all the pictures shared by them. Also, her personal Instagram account is devoid of any picture from KKK9 sets.
A recent report by Indian Express is saying that the actress has not been shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi in Argentina. She is still unwilling to shoot as she has reportedly fallen sick. Also, her participation in the show is doubtful as per a Mumbai Mirror report.
Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 9 hosted by Rohit Shetty is scheduled to be shot over 40-days. The team resumed the shooting without the actress after she refused to come on the sets on account of ill health.
Mumbai Mirror also quoted a source on the sets of the reality show saying, “The first few episodes have been shot but Shamita hasn’t performed tasks as she is unwell. The team started shooting last Wednesday where contestants had a height task and another stunt in a box filled with bees. Meanwhile, Shamita has been recuperating. A decision is yet to be taken if she will continue with the show or return to India."
Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 9 has Vikas Gupta, Bharti Singh, Haarsh Limbachiyaa, Avika Gor, Zain Imam, Jasmine Bhasin, Sreesanth, Aditya Narayan and Shamita Shetty as contestants. The show will be aired on Colors TV after the Bigg Boss 12’s finale.
