Kaun Banega Crorepati 11: Amitabh Bachchan hosted show to premiere in August. Will it be replacing Ladies Special?

Big shout to KBC fans! The eleventh season of the Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan hosted quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati is all set to premiere in August 2019, latest reports suggest. Kaun Banega Crorepati 11 will air in August at 9 pm replacing Sony TV's show Ladies Special, according to India Today report.

Ladies Special, which currently airs at 9.30 PM, will make its exit from the programming of the channel, while Patiala Babes, which airs at 9 PM, will be allotted a different time slot. KBC will be broadcast from 9 to 10 PM, reports further added.

Produced by Optimystix Entertainment, Ladies Special premiered on 27th November. It revolves around three working women coming from different walks of life. They meet in a Mumbai ladies special local train and become good friends in no time. 

Meanwhile, the registration for season Kaun Banega Crorepati11 begins from 1st May 2019. It's time to sit on the hot seat again and win crores

"So prep for 'KBC' starts and here we are running into introductions, systems, learning new inputs, rehearsing, getting ready for another year," Amitabh Bachchan recently wrote on his blog. 

Big B has been a part of the show for nine seasons. He also talked about his association with the general knowledge-based game show.

"Its 2019 and it all began in 2000. 19 years and a gap of about two years when it did not happen for me. But 17 years is a lifetime and a life time that was given a lifeline by you," he wrote.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was recently seen in the crime thriller film Badla alongside Taapsee Pannu. The film did excellent business at the box-office. Big B will be seen next in Ayan Mukerji's directorial film Brahmastra, also starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles
