Original Mr. Bajaj Ronit Roy reacts on Karan Singh Grover playing him in Kasauti Zindagii Kay 2
Kasauti Zindagii Kay 2 has been grabbing a lot of eyeballs since its time for another popular character to make an entry, Mr. Bajaj. After a long wait and many celeb names popping up, fans are all set to see Dil Mill Gaye actor Karan Singh Grover step into the shoes of Ronit Roy and portray Mr Bajaj in the show. It was earlier said that actors like Eijaz Khan, Hiten Tejwani, Karan Patel were in the race to bag the role but Karan has been finalized.
As the news has hit the internet, Ronit Roy who played the original Mr Bajaj also reacted on it and said that he believes Karan would handle the role greatly. The actor told Spotboye, "I’m very happy for Karan bagging the role of Bajaj. I think he’ll do a great job. My good wishes are with him. May he and kzk2 attain much greater heights of popularity than I did." Ronit feels Karan is an experienced actor and he didn't need any tips from him. "He’s a seasoned actor and doesn’t need my advice. All I can say is, be cool," the actor said.
Ronit Roy is still popular for playing Mr Bajaj and fans call him by the character name even today. Commenting on the same, Ronit said, "People still do call me that. It goes without saying that it was one of my iconic and career defining roles."
It was after Ekta Kapoor’s Instagram post that the buzz around Mr Bajaj hit its peak. Ekta posted, "The time has come! To say bye to @ronitboseroy as d iconic mr bajaj! N d search for d new one@begins! I have cast (n not casted’ As someone told me) Ronit in many roles but this remains our most iconic one together @iam_ejf @the_parthsamthaan @realhinakhan @poojabanerjeee @subhavi all have been perfect as anurag Prerna komo Nivi .. willl bajaj match up( hmmmm)" Even lead actors Erica Fernandes who plays Prerna and Parth samthaan wjo plays Anurag in the show commented on Ekta’s post asking her about Mr Bajaj.
On the related note, Hina Khan who played Komolika in Kasauti Zindagii Kay 2 has left the show due to her prior commitemnets and her film. The diva is currently in France where she is spreading her magic on the red carpet of 72nd Cannes Film Festival.
