It’s confirmed! Erica Fernandez will play Prerna in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, shoots for promo
Amidst a number of reports, it’s finally confirmed that Erica Fernandes will be stepping into the shoes of Prerna for Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. In the first season, the iconic character was essayed by Shweta Tiwari. Balaji’s Honcho Ekta Kapoor has planned a reprisal of the popular TV show of the noughties. It was also reported that Erica’s Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi co-star Shaheer Sheikh will be playing Anurag Basu, however the actor hadn’t confirmed about the same.
According to a leading entertainment portal, Erica Fernandes has already begun shooting for the promo of the show. The first look of the actress from the show is going viral on the social media. Her uncanny resemblance to Shweta Tiwari with the black Indian dress and long red dupatta is making all the noise among the telly lovers.
A lot of speculations are there about the male lead of the show. Names of Shaheer Sheikh, Angad Bedi and Mohit Raina were coming up for playing Anurag Basu’s titular role. Angad and Mohit have clearly refuted the reports.
As per another report, Shaheer has already been roped in for a TV show to play the role of a historical character of Salim. We’ll have to wait for some time to know who’ll be romancing Erica Fernandes in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.
Kasautii Zindagii Kay was a daily soap that was spun around Prerna Sharma and Anurag Basu and their tumultuous love story. Urvashi Dholakia played the villain Komolika which became a household name back then.
