Kapil Sharma asks fans’ opinion to bring back most popular 'cop' Shamsher on The Kapil Sharma Show
Kapil Sharma, who has managed woo the viewers once again with the second innings of his show The Kapil Sharma Show, is planning to bring his character of cop Shamsher back on TV. The actor-comedian is already witnessing another high in his career with his show topping the TRP charts. The viewers are also showering their love on the comedy show even after it was surrounded by a number of controversies. On Sunday, Kapil Sharma took to his twitter to share an old picture of cop Shamsher Singh from one of the earlier episodes of The Kapil Sharma Show and asked, "retweet this if u want to see this character more often #shamshersingh."
Kapil Sharma’s tweet was enough to send fans in a frenzy and they flooded the internet with retweets and praises for the show. Kapil Sharma already wears the hat of many characters on his popular comedy show like Bittu, Chappu and Rajesh Arora. He has been playing Shamsher Singh from his The Great Indian Laughter Challenge days and aces the character of a Haryanvi police officer everytime. Just when Kapil shared the tweet, his close friend and costar, Rajeev Thakur wrote back and complimented him saying, "Most lovable inspector of India @KapilSharmaK9."
Interestingly, Kavita Kaushik too joined the conversation on twitter and asked Rajeev about the sexiest cop in Indian television. For the unversed, Kavita Kaushik played the role of a female cop Chandramukhi Chautala in the show F.I.R. Kavita wrote, "Accha ? Aur most sexy inspector kaun hai ?." To this Rajeev replied with a song and said, "Ye akha INDIA Janata hai ... sab us pe marta hai ... chutala saab ... sexy inspector usi ke naam se shuru aur usi ke naam pe khatam." Not just the television celebs but fans also showered their love and praise for the character on Twitter. It won’t be wrong to say that Kapil will bring back Shamsher Singh in the show soon. On the related note, not just professionally but personally as well Kapil Sharma is experiencing a high in his life. The rumors are rife that the comedian and his wife Ginni Chatrath are expecting their first baby which is due in December.
