Kapil Sharma’s comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ started losing TRP post his mid-air altercation with co-star Sunil Grover. After that, his health started going down which made him skip the show for a couple of episodes. Superstars like Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma were sent back without shooting for the show. All this lead to the downfall of his once famous comedy show, and hence it went off air.
Now fans are eagerly waiting for the show to comeback. Reports were doing rounds on internet that Kapil Sharma will soon make a comeback on small screen. But according to SpotboyE report, Kapil Sharma met the people of Sony TV where he proposed a new show which is not a comedy one.
A source told SpotboyE, “Kapil feels that post making audiences laugh, he should venture into a game show now. In fact, he is keen that his friend Nikunj Malik -- who shot to fame when he participated in Rahul Mahajan's Swayamvar – be a part of it."
After reading this, the hopes of second season of The Kapil Sharma Show will go down.
Earlier, reports were saying that The Kapil Sharma Show 2 is facing a delay as Super Dancer 2 is running successfully on Sony TV. The dance reality show replaced Kapil Sharma’s show’s time slot on the channel. Owing the good TRP, the show even got an extension, pushing The Kapil Sharma Show 2 on further dates.
Kapil Sharma was scheduled to shoot for the promo of the new season in January 2018. He also revealed that the entire cast of The Kapil Sharma Show will join him in the new show. It was believed that Sunil Grover decided to put the fight aside and work with him again.
