Hina Khan is quitting Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2! Here’s why
Bigg Boss 11 fame Hina Khan again made headlines for portraying the role of a vamp Komolika Basu in the rehashed version of Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The actress’ entry on the show created much hype and in fact, Hina Khan garnered even more attention that the female lead of the show. However, latest buzz is saying that she is all set to quit Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 next month. The actress confirmed the news to SpotboyE saying, “It's true that I will not be seen on the show post-March. But the only reason is my prior commitment to films."
However, Hina Khan has not confirmed whether it’s a permanent exit from the show or not. The actress also told that the makers of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 want her to stay but her commitments to films require her to take a break from the show.
Recently, Hina Khan revealed to her fans in a live session that she will be heading to Cannes this year with her new film Lines. She also hinted that she has some international projects in the pipeline.
Hina Khan featured in TV serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as the female protagonist for almost 10 years. Later she walked out of the show and took part in stunt-reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. She also featured in controversial show Bigg Boss 11, for which she gained headlines for her tiff with Shilpa Shinde.
Recently, talking to India TV at TV Ka Dum, Hina Khan revealed that she was warned about doing a TV show for such long duration. She said, “People from the same business and outsiders told me not to do a show for so long. They warned me about being typecasted in the industry. All these things affected me a lot. What if people didn't want me to see as someone else other than Akshara? However, people accepted me as Komolika as well. I'm very happy about it that people are ready to accept the change. “
