After Gautam Rode, another telly actor Gaurav Chopra, has ditched bachelorhood and got married to his girlfriend Hitisha Cheranda on February 19 in New Delhi. None of the tv celebs were spotted the ceremony except Nisha Rawal and her husband Karan Mehra. Gaurav’s ex-lover Narayani Shastri, also gave the wedding a miss which raised many eyebrows as even after parting ways both the stars continued being friends. Now, the lady not only revealed the reason of not making it to the wedding but also talked about Gaurav’s relationship with actress Mouni Roy.
In an interview to SpotboyE, the lady stated that she was supposed to go but due to her work she couldn’t grace the event. Narayani further added that she is good friends with Hitisha as well.
This is known to all that Gaurav and Mouni were together for some time and both of them also appeared together on a reality show, but later they parted ways. Talking about that, Narayani stated that Mouni and Gurav had different temperaments and both of them were never meant to be together.
The actress was quoted as saying, “Mouni is a very sweet girl. But dekha jaye toh it eventually didn't work out between Gaurav and me too na? But yeah, Mouni and Gaurav ended it differently. I want to be friends with Gaurav, but maybe Mouni doesn't think that way. But it's ok na? Different people think differently.”
On a related note, Mouni is occupied with the work of Brahmastra alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
