Ex-Bigg Boss contestant Armaan Kohli has always been in the headlines for the otherwise reasons. Earlier, he was in news for alleged physical assault caused by him to his former girlfriend. Now, he has been arrested on Thursday night over allegations of illegal liquor at his home. As per a media report, more than 41 bottles of whiskey were found at his home. Just before this case, he was accused of physical assault by his girlfriend Neeru Randhawa.
Armaan Kohli and Neeru Randhawa were in a live-in relationship for the past three years, but their relationship hit a rough patch lately. After suffering from physical abuse at the hands of Armaan, Neeru sought help from Mumbai police. She also shared her harrowing episode of physical assault on social media.
Coming back to this latest case, as per a senior officer of Mumbai police, they have found many bottles of alcohol at Armaan Kohli’s house. He can face imprisonment for up to three years under section 63 (E) of Bombay Liquor Prohibition Act, 1949. The police have registered a case against the actor.
As per this rule, no individual is allowed to keep more than 12 bottles of liquor at his home. During the travel, no one is allowed to have more than 2 bottles. As per the reports, the 41 bottles found at Armaan Kohli’s residence is far from the regulations.
