Popular Reality TV show Khatron Ke Khiladi, hosted by filmmaker Rohit Shetty came to an end on Saturday night. TV actor Shantanu Maheshwari bags the winning title of Khatron Ke Khiladi: Pain In Spain. The actor has always been a consistent performer on the show. He won the rolling trophy and a Jeep Compass car. Apart from him, TV actress Hina Khan and Ravi Dubey were also competing in Fear Factor, but lost against Shantanu in the final round. Shantanu Maheshwari is an outstanding dancer who also appeared on popular TV show Dil Dosti Dance. In the last episode, Maheshwari captivated the crowd with his dance performance. Due to his exceptional skills of performing stunts, Shantanu was named ‘Silent Killer’ by Rohit Shetty for completing every task.
Talking about his win, Shantanu told Indian Express, “I never expected to win the show when I signed it. I didn't even think I would reach the finale. All that I wanted to was to enjoy each day and each task to the fullest. A show like Khatron Ke Khiladi doesn't come your way every day and I wanted to make the most of it."
Speaking of his experience in the show, she said, “It was the most wonderful experience. From meeting such a talented crew to performing stunts, dancing on the roads of Spain and of course interacting with Rohit Shetty, it was a lifetime opportunity for me.”
Shantanu was the contestant who never wore the ‘fear fanda’ in the entire season of Khatron Ke Khiladi. He managed to complete and win the show because of his dedication. Apart from him, Nia Sharma, Hina Khan, Rithvik Dhanjani, Manveer Gurjar, Lopamudra Raut, Karan Wahi, Monica Dogra, Shibani Dandekar, Shiny Doshi were other contestants of Khatron Ke Khiladi 8.
The grand finale saw the surprise visit by Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film Golmaal Again’s cast. Actors Ajay Devgn, Kunal Khemu, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Arshad Warsi and Tabu were present on the show.
Shantanu Maheshwari debuted on television with Dil Dosti Dance which aired on Channel V. He is also part of team Desi Hoppers who emerged as winners in the World of Dance 2015 Championship held in Los Angeles. Last year, he gave a special performance in America’s Got Talent Season 11.
