Former Mere Angne Mein actress Ekta Kaul is now Mrs Sumeet Vyas after she tied the knot with the web series sensation and Bollywood actor in a close-knit wedding. The couple got hitched in a dreamy wedding ceremony that took place in Jammu, Ekta Kaul’s hometown. While the pre-wedding ceremonies took place a couple of days ago, they exchanged wedding vows on Saturday amid family members and close friends. The pictures from their wedding were doing rounds on the internet. As soon as Ekta Kaul walked the aisle with Sumeet Vyas, the new bride changed her name on her social media accounts. She has added last name ‘Vyas’ to her name.

On their dreamy wedding, Sumeet Vyas wore a cream and gold sherwani while Ekta Kaul looked gorgeous in ox blood-coloured bridal lehenga. The already-pretty actress looked glowing with happiness as she was all set to become Mrs Vyas in no matter of time.
Sumeet Vyas and Ekta Kaul got engaged in a secret ceremony. The engagement went public when the TV actress shared the picture of her rock on her Instagram. They dated each other for quite some time. Speaking about how Sumeet proposed Ekta for marriage, the Permanent Roommates actor told TOI, “Ekta is a beautiful person. I decided to pop the question a few days ago and slipped a ring on her finger before she could change her mind. I am glad she loved it and has accepted my proposal. Unfortunately, I got the size of the ring wrong, which can be expected from a guy like me.”
