Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 enters top 10 in terms of TRP, Bigg Boss 12 out of list
Ekta Kapoor has reprised the iconic romantic TV show Kasautii Zindagi Kay. The revamped version which has Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan in lead roles, premiered its first episode on September 25th. Within a week, the show has managed to mark a place for itself in the Top 10 list of TRP. However, surprising news is that, popular reality show Bigg Boss 12 has been kicked out of the list despite being aired on the prime time, i.e. at 9 pm. Surbhi Jyoti and Anita Hassanandani’s fantasy drama Naagin 3 remains on the top. On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan-hosted show Kaun Banega Crorepati 10 has also raked in some good numbers over the week.
Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, that is showing a lot of drama these days, has maintained its momentum securing a spot in the list. In the ongoing track, Naira has been diagnosed with a life-threatening diseases and the couple has reconciled after living away from each other for years. Third spot has been acquired by Kundali Bhagya. Comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah remains on fifth spot. Rubina Dilaik’s Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki is on eighth.
Bigg Boss 12 failed to secure a spot for itself in the top 10 list of TRP. It’s evident by the insignificant buzz that’s around the Salman Khan-hosted show. This year’s Bigg Boss has failed to churn controversy despite having a number of celebrities as its contestants. Even after shifting the time slot from 10:30 pm to 9:00 pm, the show is not able to make the most of the prime time.
