Divyanka Tripathi gets brutally trolled for copying designer Sabyasachi’s iconic belt
Divyanka Tripathi, known for her role in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Dulhan, rules the heartbeats of a million fans as she impress them her charming looks and brilliant performances. The actress is very active on social media and often share her memorable moments with her fans through Instagram posts as well as her splendid looks that she dons for a number of events. Recently, the Television diva shared a look on her Instagram from another event she attended in the city but rather than getting a thumbs up, she got heavily trolled for plagiarizing a statement Sabyasachi belt.
Divyanka took to her Instagram to share her look which included a long ethnic dress paired with a classy belt and earrings. She wrote along the pictures, 'A simple dress can enhance your elegance and classy accessories can lift up the look. Just plan how you want to look for the event and work your way around it.' While her fans were head over heels about her look, popular Instagram account Diet Sabya slammed her for copying the 'iconic belt' in her attire from that of designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Diet Sabya wrote, #Guts On A Sunday afternoon!! ......Y’all will often tell us not to blame the celebrity, but you’ve to live under a giant rock to not know that this is an iconic @sabyasachiofficial belt. NO excuses!!.”
This gave rise to a storm of trolls on Divyanka Tripathi’s post as netizens slammed her for plagiarizing and flaunting it without any guilt.
However, Divyanka Tripathi was not someone to stand back and listen to it. She agve a befitting reply to Diet Sabya and forced all the trolls to shup up immediately. She wrote, "My genuine ignorance maybe a big fashion crime for you... but you guys definitely have the guts to be rude to another level. Thanks for pointing out the mistake. No thanks for being inhuman and harsh!" Divyanka also shared a picture of a comment of her supporter who called Diet Sabya’s post ‘shallow’ and wrote, “Sorry guys! I truly wanted to forget yesterday's episode when I was slammed and humiliated (by an insta profile and it's followers) for wearing a belt slightly similar to a branded piece (which I was ofcourse unaware of). But this comment!!!!!! I just couldn't resist putting up your comment on my post!”
On the work front, Divyanka Tripathi is already the face of Star Plus' show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and now she is excited to host the singing-based show "The Voice", which has music maestro AR Rahman as a super guru. This will be her first reality show as a solo anchor.
