Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat has been in the controversy right from the beginning. Many celebrities came forward in support of the film and the latest one to join the bandwagon is telly actress Divyanka Tripathi. This is known to all that many fringe groups are protesting, coming out on roads and even have vandalised the theatres which has become the matter of concern for everyone. The Ye Hai Mohabbatein actress, in her latest tweet, has condemned the violence.
Divyanka took to micro-blogging site Twitter and tweeted, “I support #Padmaavat and condemn politicisation of art and hampering of creativity.World is developing at bullet speed and this is where we are stuck!Violence is wrong. No argument can make it right!I wish all vandals put the same amount of energy in their work and education.”
After so many controversies and drama, Padmaavat has finally released in theatres. The talented trio are receiving praises for their spectacular performances and trade pundits are predicting that the magnum opus will do wonders at the box office.
The movie was earlier scheduled to clash with Akshay Kumar starrer Pad Man but after Bhansali’s request the actor pushed the release date. Pad Man will now hit the screens on February 9 and will fight the box office battle with Sidharth Malhotra starrer Aiyaary.
