Lovebirds Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar who tied the knot in a low-key wedding in Bhopal on February 22, hosted a grand reception in Mumbai for their industry friends. The couple who took their reel life love to real life, organised a gala event at the Sea Princess in Mumbai on Monday. Shoaib and Dipika took to Instagram to post the mushy pictures from their wedding reception. Television’s who’s who were spotted in attendance, including Sanaya Irani with husband Mohit Sehgal, Bharti Singh with husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa, Sharad Kelkar and Kirti Kelkar, Pritam Singh and Aman Jot and of course, Dipika’s best friend and co-actor Falaq Naaz.
Just like we’ve already seen in the wedding ceremonies, Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim were seen enjoying their day to the fullest. Shoaib even tried his hands on Dhol while wife Dipika dances to his tunes. The couple also had a cake cutting ceremony. Pictures from their Mumbai reception are doing rounds on social media.
Mohit Sehgal, who was also a contestant in Nach Baliye of which Dipika and Shoaib were a part, took to Instagram to share a picture from their reception. In the picture, he was posing with his beautiful wife Sanaya Irani along with the couple Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa.
The official wedding planner of Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar’s wedding Kalki Fashion also posted videos of Dipika’s entry into Shoaib’s house after the nuptials. The couple was seen performing the post-wedding rituals.

Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar met on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka, although they didn’t fall in love during the show. It was after Shoaib’s departure from the show that Dipika started realising her feelings for him. Shoaib and Dipika’s dating rumours started doing rounds during the show itself. But it was during Nach Baliye that the couple went public. Shoaib proposed marriage to Dipika during the reality show itself.
